Description

• The role of a Intermediate/Junior Detailer is to provide structural design and detailing to complete fabrication drawings for the structural drafting/drafting for the gas turbine and environmental industry.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD/Solid Works to prepare accurate models and detailed shop drawings

• Check, review, and organize drawing packages to meet detailing standards

• Verify the accuracy of drawings and documents (e.g. review drawings vs. specifications, standards, etc.) and revise as necessary

• Requisition material

• Issue drawings to the shop for fabrication in accordance with production schedule

• Prepare work orders within project timelines and budget hours

• Promptly communicate all issues and changes that could impact the project schedule or scope to the Project Manager

• Check the work of other detailers as required

• Creation of various documents as required

• Adhere to drafting standards, software, processes, policies, and procedures, while adapting them to varied conditions required by customers 

• Must have proficient knowledge in computers and relevant software applications

• Must have proficient knowledge in customer services practices and principles
